I wear size 10-1/2 shoes, not wide, my feet aren't swollen, etc. Some people said that these ran small so I bought one size up - for shoe size 11-15 and even these are ridiculously tight. And yes, I checked: my order says 11-15, the package label said 11-15. When the size larger is too small = worthless garbage. I've had to stop buying Carhartt shirts as the quality went to garbage, then the jeans that I wore for years started coming in China man size, now the socks that I have worn forever are unwearable. That there has been a change in management at Carhartt who are only concerned with their bonuses instead of making a product that has been beloved for years. The Carhartt family has been pushed out and the company is now run by Linda Hubbard, who has made it clear that promoting women in business is more important than managing her own business. Well, Carhartt, three strikes for you from me; a VERY loyal customer that will NEVER buy another Carhartt product. I wear a size 15 and it is bad enough going to the shoe store, asking for something in my size, and being told that I need to go to sporting goods because that is where the canoes are. Some holes are in the big toe or some are in the heals. This is a Carhartt product and I have a higher expectation. These socks are total junk! Ankle is angled a bit more than most cheap socks and fits well. Sizing can be tricky if you are between sizes. I wear mens 9.5 shoes, the 5-10 size is a bit snug-not tight. The size 6-12 fits well, but is a bit loose by the end of the day. They have held up well and fit too much better than any - ANY - "bag of socks" from the major retailers. Have bought 9 pairs. These feel fine. I've had better. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these. Since I've only had them just over a year, and there's no sign of wear, I can't say yet how long they'll last. These socks are no exception. I bought large and they fit my UK size 10 feet perfectly. The quality is as I'd expect from Carhartt in that they seem as if they'll wear and wash for years to come. Reinforced toe, heel areas , to improve longevity. My husband is tough on socks! 😊 Nice weight and materials. They are thicker than dress socks but not TOO heavy. Size is as expected. We have now washed these several times, still in good shape, no shrinkage. At upper inside edge is a poorly stitched hem... This will not hold up in best case. Add to issue, the entanglement of thin stretching string pulls loose with first use. Washing devistates these socks.
Of six individual socks in package, only 4 made it to first wash and 2 came out for a second try. The last surviving pair needed thrown away before second washing.

I purchased these directly from Amazon prior to trying them on and I now have my go-to sock. These are some of the best socks I have ever had and have held up extremely well in a very harsh environment. I have had no toe-through issues or heal rub-through.
